1 I do like KUSI reporter Sascha Foo - the first time I saw her was during last year's wildfires. She's the only newsperson I ever heard attempt the word "vicissitude" on live tv. Got it right too. |

1 I find it interesting that when something negative happens all you people seem to come out of the woodwork. All of your so called experiences, why did't any of you bring this out when it happened? I know because it did not happen as you say... Sexual harrasment with Mrs Claus, Sambo etc.... these are serious things to say and if real would have been acted on then...so all you people who love to jump on the band wagon and kick someone when they are down with your fiction stories get a life and quit with your drug, sex, and violence stories that happened to your friend...hearsay is not addmissable in court. Fed up with all of you in Fallbrook |

1 Every time I see him in the morning on TV, I get the itch to drive down to where he is broadcasting just so I can ridicule this rancid, east-coast toxic waste mutant, raccoon-eyed fecal stain of a sub-human. I'm glad this happened to him and I hope he suffers the maximum consequences for it. Hey Rod, I guess your ex-wife won't be covering for you anymore at KUSI huh, you drunken misbegotten sot? F*ck you Rod, you piece of dog crap. |

1 KUSI is the last grazing ground for San Diego broadcaster left-overs. They aren't a serious reporting organization if they have a malignant moron like Rod Luck on their staff. After Susan Lenon left, the place went to hell. I feel bad for Paul Bloom, the poor guy at least doesn't have to endure their moronic morning staff like Sandra Moss. Dan Plant and Lazura have got to be waiting for their phones to ring to get another gig at some other major affiliate. Even officer Phil has got to be thinking there has to be something better on the other side of the rainbow. Rod Luck is dead weight in more ways than one. |

1 First, let's look at a little history here, since I've lived in San Diego the entire 38 years of my life. I went to junior high school, with a girl whose dad was a popular sportscaster in town. He ended up losing his job when it came out that he had a gambling problem. Then, when I was in high school, a newscaster lost his job for taking photos of little boys. So now, Rod Luck has allegedly punched his girlfriend. Should he lose his job because of this? I would say if this is the ONLY thing he ever did wrong, he should. Because, there's really no reason you need to punch a woman. If you get that mad at a woman (and believe me, there are lots of reasons to get mad at women) well, you can break-up. Or, you can give them the silent treatment. Anything but punching. But, a few times I've written Crasher articles about people at parties that have had bad run-ins with the guy; times where he was rude, when it wasn't called for. I then witnessed this myself, when a friend of mine was being interviewed by him, regarding her company. I drove over early in the morning with donuts. We watched as Rod Luck pulled up, and immediately started yelling at people. When her son, a 17-year-old, went over to his van (after he screamed for one of us to come over and help him), he then yelled at him, "I don't want a damn kid!" The guy did about 10 things I couldn't believe. When I wrote about someone else that had a run in with him, I got a call from one of our readers. They told me they act in town, and Luck was going to interview his troupe. He wanted to talk to them at 6:00 a.m. This guy said, "I can probably only get a couple of the guys that early." Rod said, "Can you get at least three other people?" This guy said, "Yeah, I can do that." There are 10 or so, in his troupe. Luck then asks them if they can instead meet him at a beach, since he's doing an earlier story there and it would be easier. The guy agrees. He shows up at the beach at that time. He has his 8-year-old son with him. And what does Luck do? He screams at the guy for only having three people with him. This guy tells him that was the agreement. Luck then curses at him. And, he says how his station is giving him thousands and thousands of dollars of free advertising, so he should do what he wants. He continues cursing, and the guy says, "Please don't speak that way around my son." Luck then throws at a few more curse words. This guy then says, "Okay, well...I guess we won't do the interview." He walks away. He calls KUSI, and they apologize. They have Luck send an apology letter and call him up. He could tell in Lucks voice, the guy was being forced to call and offer an apology. On 93.3 FM this morning, AJ talked about how he never talks negatively about people. But when he's had to deal with Rod Luck, it never went well. And AJ is probably the nicest guy working in radio. He never has a bad thing to say about anyone! Well, I remember being hired by B100 FM. The woman I was to do sports with in the morning, made a comment abut Mexicans at the border. She was suspended for two weeks. When she came back, there were protests at the station. They had to fire her. And, it cost me a job. So, if KUSI doesn't wash their hands of Rod Luck, that will be an amazingly bad PR move. |
