Do pharmaceutical companies hold/attend conventions around the country/world for doctors and healthcare professionals at scenic/tourist locations?

Do they hold very expensive steak and seafood dinners for the docs to select from free of charge?

Do they provide live entertainment venues around the world/US for docs? Disneys, etc.

Do they provide party favors, alcohol to those present?

Do they provide the docs' children/spouses with endless opportuniies for vacation fun during these conventions?

I have heard this repeatedly from those who cater or entertain....Is it true?

Is it true that the pharm corps offer gifts, perks, concierge services, limos, tickets at these venues?

Do pharm corps track the number of prescriptions written (for each corp) for all their patients in the office or hospital?

If docs write more scripts for one corp, do they receive preferential treatment or more samples to distribute or gifts or credit in one form or another?
