What is with the comments from Quagmire and Norris! This is a serious problem and parents as well as educators need to step up and not only teach abstinence, but the consequences of unprotected sex and the responsibilities that go with it and the possibility of pregnancy, as well as all about contraceptive devices.

For the young abstinence is the best, but kids will do what they want, so arm them with the knowledge and don’t sugar coat it. Tell it like it is in detail. Ultimately it is their decision, because if you forbid it they may do it anyway and they will be ignorant and at risk.

Parents talk to your kids openly and freely.

Yes! So well put; I was so repulsed by Q's comments I couldn't even bring myself to reply, but your comments are absolutely correct all the way around. Bravo!

1 in 4 teenage girls have an STD because they are raised to idolize pieces of crap like Britney Spears and other skanks in the entertainment world. Bottom line is...society has and will ever continue to raise a community where 90% of the population are morons.

Close your legs honey and then you won't have to go to the clinic.

Little story for you. I had a patient in the hospital who married the guy she lost her virginity to. She was not a ho, however he was. He ended up giving her an STD that took her life when she was only 33. She left behind a 2 year old daughter and died a horrible painful death due to cervical cancer. If he had used protection she would be alive today.
