Stevens... Lucys recived what's know as a working inspection. Most items are repairable, replaceable or correctable. The problems like the bathroom door and the oven knobs can be fixed but are either expensive or a real pain in the butt to find the right part.
When you see problems with food like dirty or contaminated then there's a "real" problem. Problems like thermometers and storage issues are easily correctable and can be fixed with a little effort some coordination. If you wonder how I know, Know that I was an Inspector for 15 years in a related industry. |

Can you explain why after the inspector has been there and the restaurants fix there whatever's why do they wait so long to go back and reinspect? |

I've noticed Hal (funny name) posting in here alot from Denver(what a crackhead city that is). He, she or it must either be really poor or really bored to keep up with us in Carlsbad who make our children live in poverty. What a maroon. Hey moe ron why dont you go and trash the Denver economy a little more with your bright (rather dull) insight.

The city listed under your name doesn't mean anything, it's just wherever your internet provider service provider is coming from. Play nice now! |

The problem is that there are too few state inspectors and way too many restaurants throughout the state. It is normal to set inspectors up for a specific area, but when short staffed they go when they can and where needed most. The more complaints the often they show up. State inspectors MUST inspect of a formal complaint has been registered. It's the law. The timing on the other hand is to them. |

Hal IS NOT my real name for a specific reason. I grew up in Carlsbad, I have friends in Carlsbad, and I'm likely to be comming back sooner than I want to. I keep up with my home town because I ACTUALLY CARE about my friends and family there, And because I'm REAL familiar with the Double dealing and BS from certain members of the community. An I'd rather not see the same poverty and stupidity that I grew up with still slithering down the street. Kids in Carlsbad had few resources to start off with and less ways to let off steam due to poor business conditions in the county. Most turn to drugs and booze to escape instead of being taught to cope and find solutions to their problems. Things their parents should have been doing in the first place... So expect to hear some INSIGHT and COMMENTARY, From someone who's been there... The Evil from Denver... |
