I was able to get the following info on Petchili bond 1913 on Google:

Country: China
Years: 1913
Republic of China Bond. Government of the Province of Petchili of £500,000 Sterling, 5 1/2% Gold Loan of 1913. Bond for £20 to Bearer. PASS-CO authenticated. PRICE ON REQUEST
Condition: Excellent

It was issued during A Period when Republic of China was just born and the government of the Providence of Petichili was in the hands of Warlords..And the ensuing North March (War) by General Chiang Ke-Shiek has destroyed the local government..Each Bond w/ a Denomination of £20 could not be redeemed
individually or collectively..

It may have some residual values which rely much on collectors' desire and expectation...It is my guess: To collect all the bonds issued may command A Better Valuation toward the End! Or, one can inquire the Currency Museum of
Chinese History for its value!

Petili Let me share my own experience w/ the purchase of One Ein Reich Thaler 17A90 rare coin seven years ago:

It is a rare coin of German origin and I paid $ 256 USD back then..Presently, it has little or no value!

Imagine a rare German Silver Dollar issued in 1790 that has little or no value...I will keep it for the memory!!

It explains the Petchili Bond 1913...

These bonds only have collectors value, no financial value. I estimate 40-60 dollars for a good clean copy.... don't pay more and be ripped off.

Which are the proceedings to authenticate the Bonds?

We have Super-Patchilis and would like to find out if currently the present Chinese Government does accept those Bonds, and in such case, how to certify their legal acceptance -not just as a collector“s item but as actual valid Debt Bonds?
