Of course lets BLAME everybody else!!!!!! that is the American way!!!!
maybe they took a risk/gamble and it backfired, now they want to BLAME somebody else, because the market is sour!!!
This will clog up our courts, and waste judges time on a lawsuit like this
only winners will be the attorneys who will be making some $$$$ on this one
Please own up that you took a risk and you LOST!!!!! have a nice day

I am going to sue Bill Kennedy, he told us that his Kennedy Homes subdivision would be good for our town...it only raised our taxes and flooded our schools.

It is amazing how when things go bad how we blame other people.I think Kennedy got what they had coming to them by taking advantage of people and building homes that are not properly insulated, heated nor match up to the spec homes they have shown there customers.I hope you go out of business because the way you have treated people in Black Berry Creek and the poor workman ship I should sue Kennedy Homes for lying to us and putting us into a house that we can barely afford now because you would not let us back out of the contract.I hope you never build another home again you guys are a bunch of criminals as far as im concerned.

I have to agree with Jerry o this one.
"...YOURfault you bought a house you cant afford..."
You should have known going in how much your income could afford and what your credit score was. I mean, if the price was right but you were charged high interest by whomever financed you. I do not think that would be Kennedy's fault. Other factors are...you choose a 15 vs 30 yr loan, gave less then 20% and were forced to buy mortgage insurance, etc. Those are some factors that would make your home unaffordable.
Are you saying a spec home is made better??
BTW, I am not employed by Kennedy.

I would not recomend them to anyone. This builder promises a quality home and delivers the total opposite. I'm not sure what you know about building houses but the city only verifies that the house meets the city's codes. They do not check the cosmetic stuff. My house is 5 months old and has more problems than I have time to list and now because Kennedy is having a hard time you can't get them to fix anything. Everyone should feel bad for Kennedy because they are having a hard time well what about the people that are stuck with the houses they will not fix. This builder made some bad decissions and now they want to blame it on someone else. I hope Kennedy goes out of bussiness. It's what they deserve for treating customers the way they do. I will tell any potential customer I see at the Kennedy sales office not to buy a Kennedy home because they are junk and Kennedy does not stand behind thier work.

I agree with Brian, Kennedy has not been very neighborly in helping with problems. Even on something as simple as a fart fan in the bathroom that quit after 2 months of owning the house they wouldn't respond. Wham Bam Thank You Maam is their style of construction and the Union Labor should not be on here defending them, it really doesn't say much about the work you do. Maybe you just don't understand construction even though you think you do.

Hey Jerry, thanks for the news flash/ job description. I can tell you are about as bright as a light bulb. The house was checked during the walk through, these are issues due to the house setteling. Maybe you should not comment on things you know nothing about. Paying more for a house dosen't mean it is built better. The builder should stand behind thier work but I'm sure you know this because it seems like your a know it all.

Hey Brian, dig down and check the thickness/depth of your footing. It's commonly known among contractors that 10" doesnt always measure but 8" on site at Kennedy's jobs. By the time any inspector sees it, it has gravel around it.

I have a Kennedy Home and I am actually quite happy with it. The only problem that I do have is that Kennedy doesn't live up to what it promises as far as their service. I have been emailing service since Jan 25 to get a sink replaced, and I am waiting to see if I ever get my sod put in. How is Kennedy ever going to get past all the poor service. I don't think in good conscience I could give a good recommendation to another buyer just for the fact they don't live up to what they say they are going to do.
