Me and horse where two of a kind. We shared the same birthday same year and all (aug 23 1978). From the frist day of school (Livingstone)which happen to be our birthday we have made that day nothing but fun!! So it hurts my soul because I feel like I lost apart of that day with the lost of a great friend. I'll make sure that his name will be remember every year on this day. My best wishes go out to the families of all that was affected in this most harmful tragedy.Stay blessed and kept god at heart and seek peace.(Matthew 11:25-30) Much love Horse well miss you!!!

Jamel and I dated for a year, at Livingstone. He was and will always be a true friend to me. I still cry daily for this man, last night I even dreamed that he was still alive. I know that I will see him in heaven. I am so torn over this situation, for a loving, compassionate, and gentile man was taken away from us. I know that justice will ultimately be served. I would love to share memories and updates on this case. I will never let his memory die, never.
Jamel I miss you dearly, and will see you in heaven.

Jamel A.K.A "Horse", you were a breath of fresh air, you were so full of life. you had so much spunk. Lennis you were very quiet, inviting, and ambitious. Juan you were always the life of the party. you are the reason people smiled. Even though you are no longer with us you still make us smile. Jamel...Lennis... and Juan...you will never be forgotten. You will always be remembered. I love you as a sister in christ.

When I think of Lennis i have no choice but to smile. I don't have the words to describe the anger and pain I still feel. i can only imagine what the families must be going through. Lennis's mother said that her son died for his friends. I can't speak for anyone else but i know ever since nov. 20, 06 when i received that phone call every night i fall to my knees and pray. i can not remember the last time i fell to my knees and prayed before this happened. I will never understand why this had to happen to such good people. to the families your in my prayers and thousands of others. Lennis will never be forgot he lives in many hearts.

- Thanks for remembering our son, nephew and the other 2 young men that lost their lives. We appreciate your ongoing support and hope that the community will not forget this tragic event. The fact that murderers are walking and socializing among us cannot be forgotten, so we encourage anyone with information to contact the Durham Police Dept.
