HMMMM...curious...
You seem to have an obsession with fat ladies.

Incidentally, you failed to mention about the NHTSA investigation and findings that the accelleration issue apparently isn't due to electro/mechanical problems.
This single fact could easily throw the class action suit into the dumpster.
But the "sue to live and live to sue" mindset still thrives, no matter what the odds.

Excerpt from the article reporting the class action lawsuit:....

"The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) previously rejected a similar request by some vehicle owners to investigate the system, according to a report by Bloomberg News. In a federal register notice published on October 30, NHTSA officials said that the only defect that accounted for the acceleration problems with Toyota and Lexus vehicles were the floor mats being out of position or inappropriately installed."

Sorry mallard hen, the information you are looking at is old. There is an underlying problem with Toyota vehicles and it will come to fruition, and it won’t be due to some dealer installing the wrong floor mat. Watch and learn.

Sorry--as usual you're way off in LaLa land.
I'm defending equal opportunity--aka balanced reporting--something your hypocratic administrator claims is his objective, but fails miserably.

Doesn't concern me in the least.
Personally I think tort litigation is an insult to justice and our legal system--an almost criminal act in its own right--but Toyota's predicament is of no matter to me at all.
So you don't have to feel that apologies are necessary, but thanks anyway.

What does concern me--just a little--is your clearly biased crusade aginst offshores (aka Toyota) where at the same time you insist you're trying to keep this forum balanced and on a level playing field.
I have no use for two faced individuals who profess one thing and do the opposite.
It speaks to a serious lack of integrity and character.

Oh contraire, the post shed light on the attempted Toyota deception about floor mats. It’s very much relevant and noteworthy. Click the link and read, educate yourself.
