Honda Bets Buyers Will Pay Mileage Premium for Hybrid Accord
Honda Motor Co. , Japan 's third-largest carmaker, unveiled a hybrid sedan at a 20 percent higher price than Toyota Motor Corp. 's gasoline-electric Camry, betting drivers will pay extra for fuel economy.

I'm sure people will pay more for the Honda just to get better gas mileage.
You already have to keep these cars at least 6 years to break even with the cost of the vehicle verses the gas saved.
Of course thou,...if there weren't stupid people out there buying them, none would be sold....
They look at what they think they are saving today, not actually what they are really paying...
