Lear Ajax should get ready to pay people more money. Let the corporate guys starve for once!

I think Lear needs to get back to the table and negotiate a fair wage. This is costing Chrysler (Lear’s main customer) a lot of money by having to shut down without seats for their cars. Which will cost Lear dearly if Chrysler needs to find another supplier just because Lear won’t negotiate a fair wage.
Chrysler is paying Lear more than enough for these seats, why is Lear not paying it’s employees enough to the point that they feel they have to strike?
This is a bad business strategy by Lear!
Pay your employees and get back to work!

Ya we took a drop in pay 4 years ago by 9 dollars and they froze our pensions. Now they have UNIFOR on there side because there getting us to vote on the same contract three times now using SCARE tactics saying Crysler is looking else where to get seats built .I guess LEAR does not care for there employees.we only wanted to be able to retire some day .I guess were there till 67 .That gives me 42 years in this hole .I hope they go under..

Lear worker, its not your fault to think like this. You have been spoiled and do not know the market/jobs outside Lear as you 've been working here since I guess 20 yrs or a bit less. Pl. look outside LEAR for a job.If you think LEAR is forcing you to take a pay cut/no pay increase, PL leave LEAR and go where you get your wages you deserve and your pension with benefits. No one is forcing you to stick around. Its obvious that you could not find a $18 job 4 yrs ago and took to the pay cut. Things are changing and are changing fast. We all got to change with the times.
As far as SCARE tactics are concern about Chrysler is looking else where, NO Chrysler is not looking elsewhere - Its already got a backup plan. That how billion dollars businesses are run. They do not have only 1 supplier, but also keep a back up too. Sir/Madam pl look outside LEAR.
