1 I received the same treatment from http://www.autopartswarehouse.com , but worse! They sent me the wrong part and I paid for shipping and all restocking fees. The customer service reps had no idea what they were talking about and were clearly out in India somewhere. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com ripped me off too! |

Everyone who thinks this company is a rip off is wrong. For two years I have been buying parts from them and I have never received anything other than great customer satisfaction. Anyone who thinks different can F*** off.

fools if it takes 4 weeks to get a refund that should tell you something right thier ,but they got thier money right on the spot ,so why it takes 4 weeks and you have to pay for shipping think about it.

I was ripped off from autopartswarehouse.com . They shipped the wrong part and when I shipped the part back to receive a refund, they would not reimburse my shipping costs. Be very careful with this company. Your money is at stake.

That happened to me also, 250 worth of shocks and struts, they sent out 2 shocks and 2 mystery bars but no struts. I call them, they said it was sent, then say it's on back order, then say there's an investigation, then say my money is on it's way once I cancel... 2 years later and a BBB report and about 2 dozen phonecalls, no refund. don't know if it's the same place but it's autopartswarehouse.com P.S. you may have had success as I'm sure they actually sell some parts but when an opportunity arises, I'm sure they'll take advantage of it. Can anyone tell me why there were 2 metal bars in my package and a total shipping weight of 30 lbs when only 2 items were in there? They served NO purpose. I'm guessing filler weight so they can say they shipped all items. That was their first claim anyway. Please do not do business with them. I re-shopped at ajusa and got my remainder parts, they were helpful, spoke english,(no offense to people with other languages), and got my parts to me fast. |

If they ripped off everyone they wouldn't be in business, I don't know how they are still in business. I to received parts, but only 1/2 my order, the other to shocks magically became metal bars. The shipping lable said 30 lbs and the customer rep accused me of lying cuz the lable said 30 lbs. Anyway, long story short, 2 years later, no refund on my 120 bucks. Posters are right though, they all speak with indian accents and seem to be nothing more than human computers that give off scripted responses. It's funny that the dozen or 2 operators I spote to all replied at one time or another "I will personally take care of it" after telling them the last guy didn't do anything. Believe what you will, I could scrounge up a recording if need be that I actually placed an order and the parts never made it and neither did the refund. I'm not really eager to do it but if it makes a believer out of someone and stops them from making a mistake, I'll do it. |

haha, sounds familiar. When asking when my check will be sent, they all replied, today. Then finally with the last guy I spoke to, I said "look I'm pissed off but not going to take it out on you, here's my situation..." He seemed cool enough, leveld with me and said that the customer service department is WAY behind with their refunds, it will take about 2 weeks or more to get it out. I accepted this as the guy seemed to level with me, he then went on to say I will go take care of this right now personally, then he lost me because every single person I spoke to said the same thing. I figured he wouldn't take care of it now and was just blowing me off, but was hopeful. Anyway I never got my money. P.S. sorry about the multiple postings. I'm replying to several people and my posts show up 1 after the other as if I'm spamming. I will try and call them up some day soon and talk to a rep, find out my order number again, It's been like 2 years, and get them to say if my parts were shipped and the status of my refund so you all can here the parts were not shipped and the check was never shipped. Knowing them though, they'll say it was shipped 2 years ago, hell someone probably cashed it too. If you wonder why I'm waiting for a check, it's because I paid by credit card and cancelled as per my banks suggestion because of the fraud. So now I can't get an electronic refund, as if the 4 months of waiting was any indication they never intended on giving me one anyway, so I had to go with a refund by check. P.S. I'm guessing even when I get the audo, someone will say it's fake. but I'll give you proof actually. I'll leave in my order number, not that it will do me any good anymore, and you can personally call with the order number and ask for the details yourself if you don't believe. It's 3:30 am and I won't do it now, maybe tomorrow if I remember. |

talked to the guy on the phone, i wanted a mercedes badge that had adhesive so i didn't have to drill holes, asked him three times to make sure i had the right ones, no problem they glue on no holes! got them in the mail, guess what, they had the pins on the back and i would have to drill holes. got the return confirmation number sent them back, now we will see if i get my money back.

Good luck Billy B. It's possible you will, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You may have read my posts but I never got my, almost 200 back and it's been over a year.

Better get a great price when you order from autopartswarehouse.com aka partstrain.com and hope nothing goes wrong. Customer service is horrible and they play dumb when you try to get your refund. If you have a problem with an order, return it with a tracking service like UPS. Once tracking shows it was received, give them a week for a refund. If you don't receive your refund, call your credit card company and have them issue a chargeback. Don't waste your time talking to their "lack of" customer service department. Also, whenever you see complaints like this, you'll see tons of positive posting right after. They have their employees start posting bogus postive reports. Very funny.
