Identify car part?

Im trying to identify the make and model of a RH turn signal assembly found at a hit and run accident. We've tried all the different part serches, and can't find this part number: 15701948 CAV 2. Witnesses say it was either a van or suv. Does anyone know what type of vehicle this could belong too?

15701948 CAV 2 appears to be the right hand turn signal for a 1991-1993 Chevrolet S-10, probably Blazer model in your case.
I'm investigating a hit-and-run accident with the same part number, but they left more of the grill assembly, enough to identify the make-model-year.

Can anyone tell a way to Identify a part i found. It is a Huge chrome taillight housing or else the front of a small car but I think is is a taillight housing from some gigantic 1950s car. I hate to throw it away since I could sell it if I knew what it was? Any help would be most appreciated

A drunk driver ran into our wall last night. Saw it was an Audi A6 or A8 and have the color. Looked newer. There were some broken parts left behind. Driver left b/f we could ID plate. Anyone know how to trace parts back to a dealer? thx
