Is there any site or place I can get some info on getting my wholesalers license? I live in Georgia, and am trying to figure out what all I need, lot, or anything, or if I can just get my license to buy and sell cars, really it's just for myself, i can't hold onto one car for more than a few months, so I figured, I would get the license buy a car drive it, and when I get board, sell it to another lot, then buy another. How would I go about selling a car to a family member or friend since I can only sell between other dealers?

Thanks
Jack

If you are in the market for a Wholesale Auto Dealers License which will give you everything you need to gain access to the "Private Auctions", supply you with 4 Vehicle Tags and keep you legal, then we have the answer for you.

Acquire a Wholesale Auto Dealers License to gain access to any auction in the USA through us. No Salesperson Licenses, No Bonding.

We provide everything that is required by the Secretary of State to obtain and maintain your Wholesale License. The only action we need from you is a Certificate of Insurance (Garage Liability SR-23) with the limits of 100,000/300,000/50,000 coverage for the liability insurance on the 4 tags.

We file all of the required paperwork, we file your Sole Proprietor paperwork, we secure proper Zoning approval, we obtain your Business License, we handle the application of your Federal EIN and State Tax ID. We provide the service you need so that you can concentrate on buying and selling.

Start up costs are $700.00 and includes first months rent, business license, zoning fees, Tax ID fees, filing fees, Application fees and your 4 License Plate Registration Fees.
After the initial start up cost, monthly rent for a staffed office is $300.00

We are constructing our final phase of offices, once all of the offices are rented, we will only be able to wait list you for an opening. The entire application period is approx 4-6 weeks to get your License and 4 Plates after we receive your packet back.

Stop paying someone to use their license and tags, get your own and write the entire amount off your taxes as business expenses.

For more information, contact us.

I hope everyone here knows better than to fall for these "rent a license" SCAMS. Just look up your states secretary of state website on information on how to get your own dealers license, legally.

Can someone with a wholesale license tell me if you are able to buy a personal vehicle using your wholesale license or would you still need to buy and then go through retailer?

Any title with a "Dealer Assignment" is technically required to go through a retailer. But out where I'm from the currency exchanges will transfer a title with the dealer assignment filled out you're just charged the dealer taxes but I hear it's a big pain in the butt.
