Never Ever call Darlings auto mall When they first list a vehicle on line without a picture!! They will rush it through the shop!! They will turn off ABS lights,Airbag lights,Reduce power lights, and cover up where the rear back up sensors go (MISSING) with a DARLINGS STICKER!!
I called prev owner and was told when they traded it in these light were on... and darlings adjusted trade value due to problems!!
Funny the day after purchase all these problems pop up..... MANY MANY MANY trips to darlings to have problems fixed, many of these problems never fixed, Kevin Tesseo promised he would make it right!! After SEVERAL attempts to fix car, the last time they had it over one month to fix airbag light AGAIN. they returned car told me that AGAIN they fixed the airbag issues, and as for the burning transmission smell reduce power light, that they will do no more for those problems untill they see a transmission failure. the next day the airbag light came on AGAIN!! So I call MR KEVIN TESSEO the GUY who said he would make it right, and ASKED AGAIN for them to buy back the LEMON they sold me not for the 18,000.00 they sold it to me for, but 16,500.00 which I thought was fair due to they could not and would not fix this lemon. and the Fact that my subaru had been sold and traded back in and While I was waiting for a price from JAY DARLING.... he sold it out from under me!! I asked Jay Darling why they would not buy it back from me for 16,500.00 and why he would only give me 13,000.00 for it only if I leave the michelins I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR on it . MR JAY DARLING told me in an EMAIL that he felt no reason to OVERPAY me for the car for the FACT that my wife was now scared of it DUE TO THE NO POWER ISSUE, and the fact he felt I just didnt like it anymore!! Nice guy!!
I sold (WELL GAVE ) them back the lemon for 13,000.00 and let them keep the tires (cause you know how dealers need everything for nothing) JAY DARLING kept the lemon on the lot for about a month used it as a chase car and then sent the lemon to AUCTION!! Its funny how dealers can sell you a lemon for top dollar........ knowing you cant trade it in or sell it with all these problems, offer you nothing for it because they know you have no choice. keep your tires and send it to auction.
Thanks DARLINGS yeah "I DID BETTER AT DARLINGS" if you call getting screwed doing better??
and thanks to kevin tesseo and mike freedman for making it right!! Stay away from MIKE FREEDMAN and KEVIN TESSEO, they will tell you all is well and if they cant fix the car they will make it right!! its not their money that is being thrown away due to them selling LEMONS!! but when your born with a silver spoon..... well enought said!!
