Lotus vs. Maserati

What makes comparing catchy car companies such as Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini social?
Two car companies of noteworthy market comparison are Lotus and Maserati.
Lotus Cars is a British manufacturer of sports and racing cars based at the former site of RAF Hethel, a World War II airfield in Norfolk (source: Wikipedia).
Maserati is an Italian luxury car manufacturer established on December 1, 1914, in Bologna. The company's headquarters is now in Modena, and its emblem is a trident (source: Wikipedia).
Lotus makes cars that are elegant, compact, and speedy, while Maserati makes cars that are aerodynamic, accelerating, and colorful. Both make bold luxury sports cars.
I prefer Lotus more or less, because Lotus cars seem more flexible to me.
This stylistic market comparison reflects the sensory value of the couture-themed Hollywood (USA) movie "Speed Racer" (2008).
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
