now this is ominous. this is the advent of corporate fascism. these businesses are fearful of what the state (read:Obama) will do to them if they don't knuckle under. the thinking is, better get in bed with the government now or else. of course they are wrong. it's like the pacifists who hope that by appeasing the barbarians they'll be eaten last.

Or they're trying to pander to the less than bright average citizen who has bought in hook line and sinker to the leftist view of the issue.

Tom Gegax and the Aveda people are big-time democrat donors and activists. They simply don't want to alienate their leftie friends and be taken off the swell party invite lists.

The others are simply taking advantage of the "green" marketplace using P.T. Barnum's theory.

They'll get what they deserve when a consumer calls the BBB for a report on them.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
