Why don't all the fear-mongering fanaticists out there stop impeding the growth of an industry that has the potential to sustainably provide healthy protein to the world?

I have a feeling the folks from Food and Water Watch still treat themselves to plenty of seafood...regardless of the fact that they seem to so vehemently oppose any research being done to ensure a sustainable seafood future.

How do these people think that the world can continue to meet its global seafood demand, with a projected human population of 9 billion by 2050?

Most of these folks who radically oppose the sort of innovative and necessary research (such as the folks at Kampachi Farms are doing)have likely never been hungry before. Aquaculture has been stated to have one of the smallest environmental footprints of any agricultural activity.

It will be a great day when these misinformed people are praising fish farming in the future, when aquaculturists will be the ones responsible for providing the delicious sushi on their plates.

Way to go "Fish Farm Advocate". However, it's not that FWW has no idea about the demand for protein, it's that they don't care. They have lots of money, they get paid and funded for crying and screaming "Wolf!" They are not ignorant (nor have they ever been hungry), they just want to make lots of money is all.
