I said when the new team took over they would run the company into the dirt, two and a half years later and the did.
they bad mouthed the former team, as idotsbut it looks like the did a much better job the the present owners.

Having just bought a $1600 Grand Turbo Grill summer of 2007, will there be nowhere to get parts if needed?

It looks like the only specialty shops will be on the internet. I just went to the store by me and stocked up.

If you know of any good sites for rubs and sauces- let me know- www.grillingreality.com

Barbeques Galore is in the process of coming out of Chapter 11 very soon. The company was purchased by Grand Hall the nations leading producer of outdoor barbeques. The rumor is that they are kicking off their new outdoor barbeque line up before year end and will be a major threat with indoor appliances before next years end. The transformation to 15,000 sq ft icon stores are in the works as we speak.

Sounds like you are a former employee? They shut NC down because people like yourself drove it into the ground. You might want to try Spell-Check...looks like you need it!

its not people like lee
its poor management from sears and arnes
its constant out of stock on parts
it was the firing of the majority of managers and bringing in circuit city rejects(cc stock 42 cents now)
it was the new product line being overpriced pieces of crap
i could bend/break every piece of the new capt cook with my bare hands

spending a fortune on the ignition team who were worthless

the only good thing they did was hire the hot ass hr rep jackie, would love to lick that

My dear brother Igor hit the head of the nail. The Sears & Aarnes show is a complete joke.

Even some of the Circuit City pukes that Barb Salas brought in for the NorCal area have bolted.

Does anyone know if that wretched wench has been fired yet? Or is Jackie keeping her covered?

And for the boob from Texas, what idiot hired you?

4 yrs with Galore in the Atlanta market gives me the right to talk about Sears,Arnes,et al...Look into the Circuit City disaster...their employees trace the beginnning of the demise to EXACTLY the same programs championed by none other that our Mr.Arnes before he deserted his last sinking ship...The Texas clown probably has relatives at one of the remaining stores in Texas...The entire east coast was treated like dirt by Sears through the entire closing process and how he dismisses all the "disgruntled employee" as so real loss is repugnant...I,for one, hope his golden parachute lands his dishonest butt in a cactus patch!

Wow, with the exception of the Texas honk, who obviously is still part of the galore ship wreck, most of you are right on. The management that took over the company from Sid and Mike, ran it right down the drain. Sears was a disaster, and believe it or not, is still running the show. It's almost criminal how he screwed so many vendors with promise (read lie) after promise and Grand Hall kept him! No thanks, I will never spend another penny there again...

barbeques galore was a fun place to work before the people who took it over after syd sold it..they riuned the company and step on peoples lives like they were unless pieces of crap...and mr north richland hills they didn't shut down the east coast before of the people who ran the stores...it was corp who was more interested in spending money on cooking schools and boot camp meeting...getting rid of all the seasoned managers and replacing them with circuit city people who already ran a company into the wall and they had no clue....so before you speak you should know what you are talking about...

worked for them 11 years company still owes me 4500 dollars.before Sears took over company had 65 stores and had a 15% increase in revenue every year. I was dumb founded that all the personal that destroyed the company got to keep their jobs after grand hall bought out the company.Sears qoute is going from good to great instead going from good to the bad and ugly. Now China owns Barbeques Galore. If they can open more stores why cant they pay all there prev employees and 100 of vendors that they owe.
