I am not surprised by the success. They have recently serviced some of my appliances and I was very impressed with their customer service and the effort they expended to solve our problems. Without good customer service, a store is interchangeable with any other store, but add the ingredient of caring, knowledgeable and ethical service, and it is now a store that I will turn to first for all of my appliance needs.

I agree Jan. I've had nothing but good service from Hudsons.

About a year ago, the bulb burned out in my fridge and I took it in and spoke to an individual who told me the bulb was not in stock and that it would cost me $19.95 to order it and it would take two weeks to get it.

I do not like to send for things and I'm not one to check just one place if I have to so I went over to ace hardware at Clark and Pearson found a replacement bulb in stock for $1.49. The Refrigerator is maybe 5 years old, a Whirlpool.

I am still glad to see that they are still in business. They must be doing something right, to continue in this horrible economy, but I wish my experience had been the rule instead of the exception.

Jim is my youngest son and I had the privlige of going to Las Vegas with him to the buyer's group convention earlier this year where we spent three days together. It is always wonderful to spend time with childredn. I have five. But, seeing Jim stand out among hundreds of appliance dealers from all over the world was very satisfying for his dad.

This is his second business ventute in Paradise. He started his retail assent next door to Hudon's at Carolyn's Office Supplies, a business he purchased from his mother Carolyn Clarkson who still resides in Paradise.

I am not surprised that his appliance business is booming. He is booming. His participation in, and contributions to, community affairs will continue to fuel this "viral" effect in Paradise. He sees things that I can't even imagine. We will be hearing, and seeing, a lot more of this guy.

Being featured in an obscure niche magazine does not constitute "going viral."

C'mon Paradise Post, lets not pretend to use internet terms we don't understand in a vain attempt to front a hip facade on your aging and often grammatically incorrect "newspaper."
