Tim nailed it alot closer than i think he realizes. This precedent is going to allow insurance companies to deny you coverage for ANY unhealthy behavior. And lets face it, even the nuttiest health nuts occasionally eat some junk food. Just watch its coming that way they can collect all your premiums while you think you are covered and they just yank the rug out from under you.

yep it is coming a lot closer to how you describe it then anyone thinks jspicer!The insurence company is gonna start banning people from getting their insurence if they feel what them people do is a health risk or dangerous oh per say..smoking,skydiving,auto racing...etc,etc.so let them damn nazis keep up the banning sooner or later it will bite them in the butt.

After seeing Bill act the way he has on this "CRUSADE" to get his business partner wife elected; he has lost any shred of respect and dignity he had! He is now just a complaining, red-faced, finger-wagging, "campaigner in chief".
Bill Richardson was not his "puppy" and wasn't disloyal to his owners, he is an intelligent person who made a difficult and WISE decision.
Billary is NOT entitled to be the nominee, simply because they have been there before!

Question to the smokers - is it really really worth it? Come 20 to 30 years down the road, you may be attached to an O2 hose because you can no longer get enough O2 into your blood stream without it. Will it be worth the lung problems - COPD is not a very nice way to die! Is it worth the heart problems that you will have to deal with? Even if you quit now, the chance of heart and lung problems will not go away. You may gain a few years, but it will catch up to you. Why are you smoking insecticide? Dumbest thing that anyone can do to themselves.

The fact is we are supposed to live in a FREE society where we are able to live as dangerously or as safely as you like. However the nannies of the world want everyone to be safe and secure and live to a ripe old age in diapers and unconscious for the last 10 years of their life. No thanks, ill deal with my O2 bottle if i need to. Heck ive wanted to quit a few times but making it so evil and demonizing smokers has made me continue just to be contrary to the safety nazis. The fact is we are all going to die one way or the other you non smoking folks MIGHT outlive me, you might not. I may die tomorrow getting hit by a truck so smoking will have nothing to do with my death. The fact is i LOVE smoking, its an enjoyable activity to me. I know its bad for me but so are is alcohol yet i dont see anyone slowing down on their drinking because of it.To me its about the eroding of freedoms to do what we want and take responsibility for those consequences. Im willing to take responsibility for my smoking though i doubt any of the non smokers want to take responsibility for their own actions.
