Went to the big "Burlington Coat factory" job fair this week and spoke with a CEO from "Burlington"...Boy, was he snowed! I asked him what he thought about C-burg mall, and he was impressed with the amount of people there on the weekend!(he did say it needed a "face-lift") Ha! I really didn't want to burst his bubble and tell him the truth. Boy are they in for a big surprise M-Wed.'s!! And wait 'till their store is run by all the local ya-hoos who take off every Monday and Friday in this burg!!

P.S. When you go to an interview DON'T bring your KIDS!! Geez people!

Please, I like that mall, small shops is what I like, but Penny's used to be the best place to buy your kids tidy white-ies. The elastic didn't break the 2nd time they wore them. But, now I like Burlington, so I am glad they are coming our way.

Went to Steve & Barry's at the old Lowe's on 30 last weekend. WOW! Great "celebrity designer" clothes and all for less than $9 each. Nice selection of sizes (0-2x), wonderful styles and the store is nice and clean. Didn't see too much my elderly mother would wear to church, but nice selection of casual and career wear. So nice to see real-world "fashion" at a darn cheap price.

Completely agree.

My son loves the shoes and I don't wince when he out grows them 3-6 months later.

If they are coming to replace Value City, please don't hire that older man that worked for Value City he was such a rude person, I couldn't believe with all the complaints Value City received about him they continued his employment, but again maybe it was hard finding employees.

I haven't been to the C-burg mall in the last year except to get tires at Sears, though I only live 3 miles from it. I'd rather drive to Hagerstown where there are many more quality stores within a short area. If I want to eat at Flamers or cute little trinkets, I'll go to the mall. That mall will either be closed or reduced to Flea-market status within 2 years. Sad when you think about all that land going to waste but I can't see it getting any better. People are just fed up with that traffic situation and why put yourself through it just to shop at a few quality stores.
