definitely DO NOT purchase. i returned my set of sheets today. they arrived with a very strong chemical smell (am guessing from the dyes used to print the pattern). it took 2 cycles thru to finally eliminate the smell however they came out of the dryer a wrinkled mess. i have often purchased 100% cotton but these were very sad. i personally do not iron my pillowcases; fitted sheets and flat sheets and i am not sure that would have helped anyway. the salesperson commented that you wouldn't think this would happen w/ ralph lauren products but please read the fine print where it says that they are made in india. a designer's name is often just that ... the designer ... the production of an item just goes to the lowest bidder. i have nothing bad to say about jcpenney's; they were great and stood behind the product. it is just the product that is not worth the money.
