What was your specific job position at AA?

For the record...I take offense to your unfounded comments....
So i guess we are even.

Just to set the record straight, I didn’t retire with a comfortable pension. I would be one happy pig in sh_t if I received a small percentage of the pilot’s retirement. Regarding my ‘sorry’ ass, I worked above and beyond the requirements of my responsilities to ensure that my fellow employees, their families, and my customers always received the utmost service from me. Can you imagine that? And all this without a union to back me up if I didn’t like what I was required to do and the timeframe to get it done,‘correctly and professionally’, I should add.

Tulaaretired,
Oh,...I see, You are feeling unworthy ....WOW, you worked above and beyond, correctly and professionally... You should get a smiley face sticker.

Dont be a hater. What did you say your position at AA was?

Betsy,
So now you’re a psychiatrist regarding your analysis that I am feeling unworthy. Not quite the case. My contribution to the corporation and my fellow employees was what I was receiving my compensation for. No bellyaching or pouting like a child if I didn’t receive what I thought I was worth. You see Betsy, if you are really a Betsy, in the big boy world if you’re unhappy with your job you look elsewhere. You don’t expect the company to conform to your needs and what you think you’re worth. They set the employment guidelines, not you! If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, then jump over there. No one is preventing you from doing this.

Oh regarding the smiley face sticker. I did receive many of those, they were called job reviews, paychecks, bonuses, IdeAAs rewards, Atta boys, and the good old fashioned knowledge that I was proud of what I professionally contributed to my benefactor.

You ask what I did at AA, why does that matter? Are we to provide a CV to participate in these forums to determine if we are qualified?

In closing, I am not a hater as you label me. I want nothing but the best for my fellow employees and our customer, who after all, is why we are here to provide them a superior product that in turn provides us our compensation. It’s not a government relief program and we get paid for just SHOWING UP.
