Just FYI, Pinnacle is the regional carrier for NW in these parts. In addition they will be taking over all the Continental ground operations here on Sept 7th, beating out the incumbent Express Jet which curently does the Continental Express work at AVL. Pinnacle is the lowesr paying regional carrier in the US. So now folks, you will have people booking and boarding you, and loading (or NOT!) your bags who make $7.17 per hour... if you fly CO or NW out of AVL.
The woods are a bit away from the ramp at AVL, but what the hey!

In my younger days, I have done it at Stone Mountain, under a bush. In West Point lake, and was caught by the MPs, and various other fun and outrageous places. My husband and I were in the military, he was a pilot and I was in flight ops. He was 32, but I was a mere 22 years old. Aviation in the military was full of thrill seekers and, let's face it, young people just want to have some fun while they are able to. I think the president should pardon them. lol.
