When an American Eagle, Delta Connection, United Expresss (operated by some obscure unheard of regional airline) aircraft goes down in an accident or crash...

Which is shielded from; public relations, lawsuit compensation recovery, media scrutiny, and government regulatory scrutiny more?

The Mainline Airline Brand, or the unheard of Regional Airline that operated it?

Continental crashes a Colgan Air virtual airline Express flight.

Real people died. If the mainline holding, parent, or airline, owns or leases the plane for virtual flying, the mainline should be at primary fault as the oversaw the Connection, Eagle, or Express flight.
