You American employees should grow some balls!
You ALL should resign in mass and shut that god-damn airline down forever.
Show the govt and the American public you won't allow this crap anymore.
If everyone starting putting these god damned airlines out of business. We would have re regulation again.
Stop being pussy's and grow up. Otherwise you deserve what they do to you.

I regrettably have to agree with you 100%. They are forcing us to start thinking that way.

AMR has over 20,000 employees in the Dallas-Fort Worth area lone. Over 100,000 worldwide. How many were "protesting"? 20 or 30? Most of the employees know the airline is hanging on by a thread and the only way to save it is through drastic cuts. Many jobs will be lost but the airline will survive and one day be profitable again.

Hey Angry White United Pilot,
why don't you leave the airlines? You had an excellent shot when it took UA so may years to get passed chapter 11. Continental and Sky West saveed you. You may want to tahnk them. I guess you did not get much support at your own airline from your peers? If you feel so angry at the airline industry you can always quit, get another job, or start your business so you can keep your blood pressure in check. I am sure nobody will miss you or remember you at UA.
As you well know, the bankruptcy court only cares about the creditors.

I hope someone buys AA and they lose their seniority like they did to us when AA bought TWA. That will make me feel great.

Don't play race card. It shows poor judgement. All I am saying is take care of your business at your airline and if you are so mad just quit the airline industry. Remember, you have the option to be happy not angry. UA will gladly let you go and if you don't, keep your blood pressure checked.
Happy flying.

Maybe US Airways will get AA. What a mess it would be. Two very militant groups.

AMR will outsource as many jobs as possible before they leave bankruptcy. They don't want to have to deal with disgruntled employees when they emerge. It's possible that Eagle may end up working ramp for AA at many cities like they do now in PDX and CLT.
