YES - That is the plan with C Series orders

NO - The C Series orders will be attached to F9

Yet another reason to prevent US AA merger

What is Republic Airways Holdings going to do with their orders for the 100 - 160 seat Bombardier C Series regional jet airliners.

I guess they will be flying for United Express, American Eagle, Delta Connection, and US Airways Express marketing brands of the majors or legacies or what ever we are calling the big airlines lately.

Does anyone know what Republic Airways is going to be doing with 160 seat jets since they are not going to be owning F9 anymore?

So what happens to the C Series orders?

Is Republic going to fly them against Delta and American pilots at the Eagles and Connections?

Passengers still will not know who they are on, but all the same this merger AA / US will be the end of a few more mainline pseudo branded regional airlines.

May have been better for RAH to have polished up the brand instead of to cheapened the brand of Frontier. There is not a lot of room for but one air Trailways or air greyhound nationally.

Virgin America, Frontier, Allegiant, and Spirit have but only one direction to go. Which is to streamline into two carriers now!

UA's newest pilot contract specifically says that any C-series type plane be flown by UA pilots.

Common Carrier status has been given to Republic, Shuttle America, and Chautauqua.

Seems like Scope clauses are being violated all over the place.

American Eagle flies for AA so no one flies for Eagle.

Is American going to have to operate the EMB 190 so they do not violate

SCOPE clauses

at MQ and the other American Airlines Group owned US Airways Express carriers? Interesting times here. Would love to see Embraer in some new colors!

Wow, Mesa and Republic must be campaigning hard to Doug Parker to get those American Airlines Group owned Jungleliner Ejets.

Might want to try offering someone shares in a liquor store. Hmmm

Just wondering if it was determined the threats to Bombardier C Series production factory originated from Airbus or Boeing, or hefty shareholders of theses companies.

This 160 seat aircraft has the potential to be a game changer.
