Get rid of Airtran's seats quickly. Recaros suck.

Recaros suck, but the TWA 717 seats are fine

Delta better not just recover those damn Recaros

Problem with Recaros: thighs unsupported, Padding

All airline seats are NOT the same. Experienced passengers no the difference.

Has Delta been able to get the black smell out of the B717's that came from the getto express airline of the south...Air Tram?

These airplanes are now with the white airline of the South!

Recaro seats will offer a six-way adjustable headrest, three inches of recline and an additional inch of legroom.

The additional leg room will not affect the airline’s seat pitch of 31-32″, but it will offer more room for your legs.“The extra inch we refer to is gained by Recaro’s clever design that effectively adds one more inch of room to your living space, without us moving the seats further apart,”

This is from an article about Delta regional feeder airline Alaskan getting Recaros, it confirms the seats have narrower cushioning making it look like an illusion of AA's "MORE ROOM THROUGH COACH.

Having spent many hours aboard AirTrans horrible original recaro equipped 717's and AirTran's former TWA 717's which do NOT have RECAROS's and are fine, along with and Americans MD80's with these narrow thigh unsupportive seats...

Delta better insist to Boeing and Southwest, seat compensation is in order. Recaro padding is sub par, as are the thigh support.

Well Northwest's upgraded DC 9 Seats were great much like the comfort of TWA's seats.

Delta, do your passengers right and fix this Recaro Seat Problem as you take on the 717's from AirTran.

I use seatguru to avoid Recaro. I hope the CEO and everyone at Recaro end up poor and penniless as they have inflicted this deep vein thrombosis death seat on everyone.
