Have 787 issues delayed Boeing and new design initiatives to remain competitive?

Basically in terms of passenger comfort, low cost and mainline carriers in their quest to satisfy the bean counter executives who do not see the big picture,
can think of a B o e i n g more as a
Y u g o - in terms of passenger comfort rather than a
B u i c k - in terms of passenger comfort.
As long as Boeing continues to allow the cheapness of modern day deregulated airlines favor no room and passenger unfriendly interior designs. Ejets, C Series, and Airbus, will continue to erode Boeings narrowbody designs like the 737 MAX. It does NOT have to be Boeing for me anymore cause Boeing equipped airlines do NOT necessarily mean more comfort.
