If you lost in Airline stock..... here is the plan for UNITED to lose you some more if you have any.

1)Attract investors on record profits.
2)Give Execs big parachutes, raises, and bonuses
3)BLAME the employee who has taken cut after cut after cut.
4)Declare bankruptcy
5)Execs gets out with big pay parachutes
6)UNITED nvestors, and employees lose it all A G A I N

INVESTORS in UNITED, get out while you can if this is the game they are playing again. IT all starts with blaming employees for poor profits instead of management NOT taking responsibility.

Investors just assume that someone is watching out for them. The CEO the CFO and all the rest of the upper eschalon at United just go along to get along. Just like they did at Northwest and Delta. As long as the CEO and CFO know they are going to get their hugh 'golden parachute' they look for others to blame poor preformance on. The airlines stockholders couldn't-/wouldn't make a dime if the employees didn't show up and do the grunt work. Fly the planes, fix the planes, load the cargo and bags, put up with the irate passengers etc etc. The stockholders couldn't make a dime if just the CEO and CFO and the other management a/h were the only ones doing anything. The employees do their best with the tools they are given by the CEO and other management. Treat the employees right, compensate them for their hard work without always blameing THEM for the losses.
Jab me once shame on you. Jab me twice shame on me. The company management gets back what they give out. Better management that works WITH the employees insted of against them will FILL the pockets of the stockholders and everyone will be happy. Management thinks that because THEY went to some expensive college and learned acounting and management skills that only THEY know how to do things. They couldn't be more wrong. The Pilots CAN slow down, the mechanics CAN take longer to repair an aircraft, the ticket agents CAN be nice or not so nice, the Flight Attendants CAN be helpful or they can just slow down because they are tired. Drivers, food service, fuelers, can all slow down just a little but when it all acumulates it makes the whole operation slow down costing the STOCKHOLDERS a lot of money when the stock heads south.
If your a stockholder YOU should be contacting the CEO at UNITED, it's HIS show and he's not doing a very good job. The BUCK'S stop with him. Don't blame the employees. They give back what they are givin.
42 years in the airline business and I'v seen it all. When the stockholders are makeing money it's because there is good management thats working WITH the employees not against THEM.
