Best thing to do is dump the Unions. It is the ONLY chance for the merger to work and the airline to generate a profit!

Apparently, you haven't been reading the Forums. The bankruptcy was all due to bad management!
AA doesn't have any issues or problems with the unions. Do you recall the mechanical meltdown last September when the pilots threw a hissy fit because of the unreasonable management demands. Unions weren't the reason for their temper tantrums and whining. It was MANAGEMENT!
Let's see what the New American promises the AA guys then stand back and watch the America West and Us Air pilots piss and moan about their contracts. Seems like the eternal dilemma that has plagued mergers for ions.
