Cell phones interfering with navigation instruments is a crock. What would we have known of the 9-11 hijackings if it were not for phones on the planes? Instruments are not so cheesy as to be influenced by phones.

I'm wondering what the guy was talking about during his phone conversation; I'm willing to bet that the passenger was a partner in a law firm, probably a litigator. (Rule #1 for being a successful litigator: don't give a **** about what anyone else thinks)

Southwest is by far the worst airline I ever used. From the illiterate reservation staff in Chicago, the rude desk ticket agents, the terrible flight attendents, and the ridiculous cattle car boarding, I would never fly Southwest again.
Their fares really aren't and cheaper than any other airline now, so why but up with thier second class service?

I am also sick to death of public cell phone conversations - 99% of them are about s***. I can't believe the party on the other end of the conversation is remotely interested in it. What a waste of time and energy. I'd gladly donate to a defense fund for someone assaulting a loud idiot on a cell phone.

Cell phones are annoying but a part of life. I just wish people would use them judiciously.
Just as annoying are people who wear the earpiece all day long. Are you trying to convince us that you are so busy and so important that you always have to have that thing attached to your head? Do you think it's cool?
