Ok so we have technology that can send a man to the bloody moon and they cannot have technology that will keep the navigation system intact? It makes you wonder about how things are setup, if a cellphone can disrupt flight travel imagine the open possibilities for acts of dubioud nature...
i think it is just so we HAVE to use the in flight bullshit phones that charge you 5 dollars a minute.
Business controls everything and I dont think this man should get into trouble for talking to someone who was sick/

I am so sick of adults who know better bending the rules as if they are somehow more important and entitled over others. If he had an issue with this, he had a choice to not board like the thousands of other passengers who traveled that day with families and important things happening in life. These are the same idiots who park in the firelane at the grocery store and travel up the breakdown lane during a traffic jam. People like this are often self centered and don't think of how their actions impact others.Adults need consequences and I am glad that people are still being held accountable.I work in prisons filled with adults who put their need over those of their victims and our community. This behavior on the plain seems very close to the thinking of offenders I work with.

Once again, the needs of the individual seems to be more important than the safety of numerous other passengers. We are such a selfish society. If the man knew he was going to fly, he could have temporarily had another family member watch the father.
