Talkative Toddler Kicked Off Plane
A Gwinnett County woman wants an apology from Continental's Express Jet Airlines for kicking her and her toddler off of the plane -- all because, she said, a flight attendant wanted the woman's son to stop ...

I can't stand flights with kids talking, screaming or crying. You're used to hearing that constant annoying crap day in and day out and you need to think of the people that do NOT want to hear it, and stop being so selfish. The airline has no reason to apologize. You can take Greyhound next time or drive. Sorry, honey, the flight attendant was right.

The kid was not screaming or crying. If you are so annoyed by kids maybe you should start driving everywhere you go so no one irritates you. You are the selfish one who thinks you should live a life free of any "annoying crap". People like you annoy me so what should be done with you????

You're hilarious. Are you so used to your screaming kids that you don't hear them anymore? Think of others honey and stop being so selfish. If the woman had control of that thing there wouldn't have been a problem in the first place. If the flight attendant was in the middle of giving emergency instructions and that kid was talking over her, she had every right to give both of those clowns the boot. |

Read the story......My kids are all grown and very productive members of society, thank you very much. I hope you have control of your thing so there won't be any problems. Where in the story did you read it was in the middle of the attendant giving emergency instructions--you assume alot.

I know of many talkative adults that should be thrown off the plane lol
Sounds like another bitchy flight attendant pissed off at the world. They don't throw screaming babies off but they throw this kid off? Hmmm |

she should have some pie

There once was a stew that suggested Baby Benadryl for a particularly oral toddler. That mom got real mad and went on tv talking about it.
Hip, who should have the pie? The stew or the mom?Is pie that helpful at resolving such situations? |

When I was a kid I knew better than to act up in public. My mother or father would have killed me. Most parents these days have no clue how to control a kid.
When I pay what it cost to sit on a bus in the sky I will be damned if I will have to listen to a screaming kid. |

Shut up and get the corn cob out of your #$%! |

Times have changed from when we were kids. Parents can't discipline for fear of being turned in to DFACS. Thats why no one will do any discipline. Alot of this was brought on ourselves for letting the government tell us how to discipline our children. So we need to learn to adjust. |

Just so you know moron there is a big differance between a screaming child and a child saying "bye bye airplane" your an idiot. There is an airline for all you child phobes. It's called hooters airlines and no you would NEVER see me on that. I think the cutest sound in the world is a child learning to speak and a good parent that is encoraging it. BTW my kids are grown. So next time you book a flight ask if any kids will be aboard. If I were the mother of this very bright and articulate young man I would go all the way to the chairman of the board with my complaint. I hope the stwerdress lost her job. |

I doubt at 20mos old you knew better then to "act up" this chid was not acting up and he was not screaming. If a childs voice in any volume is screaming to you I feel sorry for your neighbors. You most likely live under a rock in the middle of no where as that would be the only way to stay away from the sound of children in any way shape of form. I'm sure you do not have a TV or radio as OMG there might be a child on it at some point. |

This has nothing to do with discipline. It is a 20mo old baby saying bye to the planes and a stewardess who is a B***h. She was in the same airport as the child and the mother did a very good job of keeping the child in a good mood. |

Hey moron where does the story say the stewrdess was giving emergency instructions? I just reread the story and it was not there. Go back to your rock and hide. |
I agree. You know kids will be kids. Some folk need to understand that. We also were kids once. And probably acted just as this kid. So there's no reason for people to act irrational as the stewardess did in this case. |

The childs parents are thinking of filing suit against the airlines. I hope they win if they do.

1 Personally, I think all children and babies should be banned, as well as idiots who get on their cell phone to tell people "I'm on the plane". The Airline should sue the parents for imposing their spoiled brat on the rest of us. And remember, at 1st citizen boarding, "Don't touch me...". :) |

I am so shocked by some of the posters on here with their saying that children should not fly. I hope, if they have a child that the child is mute, because if not, the child will end up on headline news with "Child murdered by parent for making a sound".
Shame on you! I have sympathy for those that fly and do not want to hear a child cry, I don't either, but that is why I bring toys, food and drink for my child. But, what are we to do with the obnoxious adult? What about the grossly overweight adult that should have bought 2 seats instead of one? The child and mom should not have been thrown off the plane. If I had been the mother, I would have tried to calm my child down out of respect. We were not there and do not know exactly what happened. |
