prediction.....They'll keep losing money for another few months. Petters will realize he can't keep floating the whole operation and sell. Southwest Airlines will buy them, giving them the international routes they want and the Minneapolis market kept from them by the morons at NWA. Fares will fall, traffic will rise, and SWA will rule the midwest like they do the rest of the country. And it will be a blessing when it happens!

does Sun Country fly 737's If not Forget SWA unless they are able to buy slots only

Sun Country flies the 737-800 with blended winglets. SWA flies the 737-700. Same plane, just more range and capacity w/ the -800. SWA will soon rule the US airline industry.

Southwest had a chance to get 73-800's w/winglets when they ran over ATA Airlines. They didn't want them. The airplane doesn't fit their mold.

Such a shame I flew SunCountry a while back on a short little vacation. Overall a very nice product, they offer. Nice planes, nice staff. Wonderful routes for vacations. If you do not have long legs the seating is just fine, if you do have long legs it is a little misserable. I hate so see anyone loose a job these days, not the best time to be looking for a job. I hope they beat the odds. I also hate to see MSP loose another carrier.
