With 60% of RAH Trans biz for AA or DL, which would be a better M & A for AS

Skywest Inc, Pinnacle Airlines Corp, and Mesa Air Group, have too much of their biz devoted to US Airways, and United as compared to Republic Airways Holdings and Trans States Holdings have for Delta or American,

therefore, Tran States Holdings, or Republic Airways Holdings seems to make more sense as an acquistion target.

F9 however does seem like it could be a drag over Trans States, however due to the United Express contracts could prove a bit of a hinderance.

Eithers Embraer 170's 175's or 190's would however take it above JetBlue to create the 5th largest US airline and still providing feed as AS does already for American and Delta and those too AS as is currently done already.

HA B6 AS 3 way merger
F9 AS merger
DL AS merger
AS - Republic Airways Holdings acquisition
AS -Tran States Holdings acquisition
AS - American Eagle Holdings acquisition (really unlikely)
AS - WN (similar fleet but AA DL would never allow)
AS - VX (VX loosing money hand over foot, won't be happening)

H O N E S T L Y - really cannot see any of these happening unless it was totally certain the venture would make money and be a total asset, rather than becoming a risk of any sort of potential liability.

RAH is way too complex even though though DL AA codeshare potential do does exist while

TS holdings has the troubled GoJet but the potentially winning asset of compass with their DL codeshares. GoJet in that scenario would probably be divested to someone like SkyWest, Inc.

What every one fails to realize is AS has NEVER indicated they are interested in any sort of merger or acquisition so everyones next teenage merger wet dream is just basically that.

737 Skyworst airplane does not make them great when you have constant maintenance and delay airplanes all the time.
