The only policy in need of review here is Jetloo's "potty pass" policy... That needs to be flushed.

So this man wants compensation for the inconvenience of travelling in a bathroom? What kind of compensation do the thousands of commuters who were inconvenienced by Al Sharpton and his thugs get for being stuck in traffic with out a bathroom for hours? Oh wait sorry I forgot, It's only racism when its not whites
Where are you from? Idiot, there are no , nil, none, nada, "bathrooms" on commercial airlines, they are called toilets. fool. Al Sharpton knows that.

Wow, I didn't realise there were so many racist moron Americans.

Leon, Dick Hertz & all the other f**ktaches that are making judgment calls based on the man's race - I really hope you do need Dr Motlu's (or was it Dr Gokhan's) medical help one day, but refuse to get treatment from him based on your own pathetic racist views.
Talk about poetic justice, you will be helping natural selection to decrease the number of idiots on the planet (oh wait... let me guess you only believe in 'intelligent design').

And yes I spell 'realise' with 's'- it is the English language, as spoken around the world including here in Australia.

Ahemm... for everyonee else, I do agree that $2 million is excessive, but the pilot (if guilty) did put the passenger's life at risk - however small that risk was. The risk (I believe) is why you are not allowed to spend the entire flight in the toilet.

Now heres one for the conspiracy theorists - is it possible that the friend who got Dr Motlu his 'buddy pass' was actually the pilot or the hostess?
I am having trouble believing that a pilot would be so irresponsible as to do this to a stranger; but think it is far less likely that case would be going to court if Dr Motlu had made the whole thing up.

I disagree. NO ONE should have to sit inside a airplane bathroom, would you do it? I know none of us would. The airline handled the situation very poorly and their customer service reputation is already tarnished as it is. They could have found him a seat even if it was in the back of the plane. This has nothing to do with him having a buddy pass or him being an ingrate it has to do with the incompetence of the staff on board this flight.

he got a free ride, now suing for $3 million,
supposedly a doctor, but can't afford to pay
for a seat, PLEASE, then has the nerve to sue
for $3 million, his butt is not that precious!
still an ingrate and ungrateful!

Isn't it illegal for someone who is not a pilot or flight attendant for THAT airline to sit on the F/A jumpseat anyway???? I know it is at the airline I fly for ... and every other one I've flown for as well. Seems to me that the captain on the flight would be in trouble too ... if he in fact told the man to sit on the F/A jumpseat.

Wow, so many people jumping the gun without knowing the facts. They guy should have never been on the plane in the first place. A gracious f/a gave up her seat to sit on the F/A jumpseat to allow the buddy pass rider onboard. She did not have to do that and now I bet she regrets being so nice. I don't believe for one second that the Capt told the buddy pass rider to ride in the lavatory, Which is illegal to occupy for take-off and landing anyway.
How is this a racist incident?
I see it as a guy trying to capitalize off the system and starting more trouble than he thinks.

You may want to go back to doing something for which you are possibly qualified -- like demo'ing life vests and serving pretzel crumbs.

If they did that to me, I would have left a nice Cleveland Steamer smack dab on the middle of the bathroom floor for them.

What a joke!! This guy is a complete idiot!!!!! It was too bad he had to sit on a toilet for more than three hrs,but he
can't possibly expect to get 2 MILLON DOLLARS for that!
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! Please tell me that the court won't
award him that.He could of said NO,but went along with it willingly. The judge should throw him and his case out of the
court room because he is a WASTE OF TIME! What a BOSO!!!!!!

If you could read for comprehension you would already realized I said it is prohibited to occupy the lav during t/o & ldg. But I guess you like to run amuck, shouting about things you don't comprehend.

That's part of them. The whole truth explains FAA's interest in the matter...

Now how 'bout those pretzels?
