MatlinPatterson World Airways Succesor Cerberus Shuts down World Airways. Unclear at this stage if Cerberus will just lease out the planes of World and North American to extricate profit.

North American Airlines will be downsizing some more though is what has been said.

Sounds like Cerberus wanted to wash its hands quickly of Global Aviation Holdings.

Former vice president Dan Quayle's leadership role in the private equity firm Cerberus and the destruction of World Airways seems to mirror Mitt Romney's history in this area too.

Interesting big. Biz ties.

World Airway's demise began when Global Aviation and it's very greedy management took over the three carriers! Alas the Upper Management at Global stole theirs! What a sin against God?
Rest in Peace World Airway's.
