Just came across a pretty comprehensive list of mainline brands outsourced to and for regional flying.

Have the mainline airlines done themselves in and butchered their mainline AIRLINE BRANDS and identities by outsourcing and confusing the public? It sure seems so and many Airline Executives have not learned anything by studying history.

In retrospect AIRLINES and especially AIRLINE EXECUTIVES who came up with these marketing schemes should have been sacked immediately by the Airline Board of Directors

Hopefully though, corporate management of what is left of the United States Airline industry won't repeat these same errors these fomer mainline airlines did, but to be honest I do not have a lot of faith in AA DL or UA.

JetBlue, Southwest, Virgina America,

seem like the carriers that realize lipstick on a regional airline pig does not make it a pretty pig.

Guess the United States NEW Airline industy will be Allegiant and Spirit, along with foreign carriers who touch down at our ports of entry,

as much of the United States Airlines industries Executives continue to try and pull the wool over the travelling publics eyes.

Heck you forgot to mention the airline within an airline schemes... like:

Song, MetroJet, United Shuttle, Delta Express, Continental Lite, Continental West, TED, Midway Express, Frontier Horizon...

With such failed leadership in the US Airline Biz like this, it is NO wonder why Southwest, Spirit, Allegiant, JetBlue, and Virgin American have been so succesful!

It is kind of interesting as Connection, Eagle, and Express become nothing more than marketing n o i s e pollution and distort the clarity and clearness of the AA, DL and UA brands, especially when compared to the brands of JetBlue, Southwest, and Virgin America. While Allegiant and Spirit cannot in the slightest compete head to head with AA and Eagle, DL and Connection, and UA and Express, the brand of Spirit and Allegiant are far more crisp and clear in terms of offering lowest fare expectations than the OneWorld, SkyTeam, Star Alliance remanufactured legacies.

Quick name 5 car companies with product offerings to the masses.

- You probaly said: Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet (General Motors - brand noise), and most likely Honda, over Chrysler (are they still in business)

Now quick name 5 airline that offer V A L U E for your transportation dollar.

- Southwest, Jetblue, Allegiant, AirTran (possibly), or Spirit

Get my point about brand noise!

YES but will AA Eagle, DL Connection, UA Express, be going the way of these other butchered brands. I say yes, for AS, B6, F9, HA, VX, this is the only way they may grow substantially. By acquiring the regional airlines that fly for AA Eagle, DL Connnection, UA Express, and doing AS, B6, F9 HA VX branded flying as codeshares themselves.

This is a much better solution than letting foreign airlines fly in the USA, the so called cabotaging of the domestic airline industry.

And personally I would much rather see AS, B6, F9, HA, VX supersize and upsize the

longer routes flown 5 or 6 or 7 or more times a day with 76 Seat CRJ Cramped Jets or EMB EJETs with 3 or 4 time a day 737 MAX or A320's in AS, B6, F9, HA, VX colors.

This is a far better solution to promote competition than allowing EasyJets, Volaris, Norweigian, and Ryan Air's of the world to sabotage, and cabatoge, a healthy bunch of airlines that already exist in the USA.

People, kids, and children already starve and go to bed hungry in large parts of our country already. and we take care of foreigners before our own. Why would we want to do the same with cabotage or sabotage of our tarnished jewel of an airline industry?

I think these brands should be more transparent in terms of on time performance, as they are so allied with American Delta and United.

AA DL UA get a free ride, with this lack of reporting in regards to on time performance.

Pilots were threatened with the ComAirfication of Eagle.

Say old AMR tactics just with a new name called American Airlines Group

F A I L #1 at a place that seemed to offer opportunity and some respect with the arrival of Doug Parker.
