United Airlines passenger revenue up sharply

United Airlines said a key measure of revenue rose as much as 7.5 percent in February, after a weak showing a year earlier.

This is the first evidence that this airline has the potential for excellent financial performance based on economies of scale and synergies realized from the combination of the two previous stand alone carriers. If their current focus on passenger service is successful, we could see this stock really achieve the potential that many on Wall Street have predicted. The ball is in their court.
