if it is not Boeing I ain't going...

guess Boeing is seeing more return upon pressuring Alaska to go with US Airways this week than to go with Hawaiian.

US Airways has far more airplanes that need replacing then does Hawaiian.

hahaha! never will Hawaiian merge with that horrible Alaska Airlines which should have gone out of business after that un-excusable crash over the LAX airport, and flying a 737 over the pacific for over 5 hours with portable rented dvd players as entertainment is just plain painful
Clearly you do not know what you are talking about! Alaska is the jewel of North America and consistently ranks number one in customer service. As for flying 737-800's to the islands? American, Delta and Continental ALL fly this aircraft to the islands. Also, more airlines are going with the portable DigE players that Alaska offers to their customers! As for the crash of 261? Alaska was not fully responsible for this tragedy - Boeing was.

Donald, you are NOTHING but an ingnorant ass hole! Alaska has one of the best products and reputations in the United States. In fact, Alaska has won more awards than any other US carrier! The fate of 261 was not all of Alaskas fault. Alaska maintained their MD-80's in tip top condition. The fault clearly lies with Boeing by informing Alaska how to perform maintenance on a Douglas product, that Boeing acquired. Get a clue!
