The flying public has nothing -- and no one -- to blame but itself. They made their beds, and now, they're lying in them. By deciding that ticket price was the one and only criterion on which to make their decisions, flyers got what they asked for: inexpensive air travel. By demanding rock-bottom prices, they stripped carriers of the ability to offer even the most basic of amenities, encouraged them to cram ever more travelers on each plane, and forced huge wage concessions among their personnel at all levels. If flyers want cleaner, more comfortable planes, better service & attitude from airline personnel, and less crowing, they must pay for it. Until they do, they should just shaddap already.
