We certainly hope that she is fair-minded and will take into consideration the UA/CO and DL/NW mergers that were quickly approved. Keeping AA and UsAir in limbo will only make matters worse for all the employees and respective companies.

It was the AA-TWA merger that started AA on the downward spiral. Why would the next merger be any different? Bankruptcy and another merger can't always the answer. At some point you have to actually manage efficiently. Just a thought.
