The decline in our economy is mostly due to American businesses moving a portion of their operations to India/China/Russia/Brazil and more.

How can our "leaders" not see this? They are focusing on the results, and NOT the cause!

Why are gas prices going through the roof? A major factor is the increasing demand for gas/oil in developing countries such as India, China, and on and on.

Why is there increasing demand in those countries? Our corporations are moving thousands of jobs from the U.S. to those countries, resulting in increased industrialization, increased demand for vehicles, and increased demand for all things petrochemical based.

The Emperor's new clothes are clearly responsible. The smoke and mirrors espoused by big business which has propagated the lies about how offshoring is good for business failed to explain the ongoing mantra of pursuing short-term gains at the expense of long-term success, for both business and our country. The leaders of these corporations don't care about America, they care about maximizing their next bonus check and stock option award! They want to retire comfortably, and by selling-out America's workers and contributing to the decline of America's economy, their retirement dollars will be worth MORE, while the rest of our society struggles for generations to come.

Fix it, or forget about your children or grandchildren ever enjoying a standard of living approaching what we have today (or had merely 10 years ago).
