yes this one was not hard to find out just like in Cheech and Chong movies. just follow the smoking pot. you know this could be a modern day return of the Helms bakery trucks that use to drive through the neighborhod with goodies. now there are even better goodies that people of all ages can enjoy! this will keep the drugged people off the road and only on the road when they hear the crazy train song coming down the street. hey stop! i want a dime bag.

I wonder if this truck was supplying the Medicinal marijuana stores. Seems like a good way to drive around town making deliveries without raising suspicion.

You're right. States and counties are slowly but surely coming around to allow medicinal marijuana. The war on pot (or any drug) cannot be won and many in law enforcement are beginning to see that but not politician wants to touch the issue. Prohibition didn't work and it caused for damage than the original offense. There were no problems with it until there were laws against it.
The history of cannabis hemp being banned goes all the way back to 1935 when nylon was developed by DuPont. They lobbied and in 1937 the Marijuana Tax Act became law. The whole idea was to use the law to make hemp illegal and destroy the hemp business which made very strong durable rope fromthe plant's fibers and get them out of the way so that DuPont could market its new product. It is not unusual for powerful corporations to use the law to eliminate competition. DuPont also pushed for the banning of r12 freon refrigerant as a "greenhouse" gas and it's interesting to know that at the time they were lobbying for banning r12 that their patent on r12 was about to expire and they were now pushing for their new product, r134a which is now used in all automobiles and large trucks. R12 is now illegal to use in automobiles. Incidentally, DuPont holds the new patent for R134a.
You can read more of the history of the banning on hemp at:
http://www.thc-ministry.net/untoldstory/hemp_...
Meanwhile, over the decades tens of thousands of people were criminalized and prosecuted and imprisoned, some for 30 years for simple possession of marijuana. Careers and lives were destroyed. All this because a company that has that much horsepower wanted to sell its product?? This is how the U.S. does business at home and around the globe to force its will in other countries. We do it by holding the hammer of foreign aid over people's heads. Might this be a reason we're hated by so many other countries?? We're paying for it now..........

Please don't speak for law enforcement. None of us believe we are losing the war on drugs. It is a constant battle that should not end just because people like you and others think it is socially acceptable. Keep doing dope, there is plenty of room for you in prison, and we are happy to keep sending you there!

The War on Drugs only benefits the people employed by it. I wouldn't be surprised if the cartels fund anti-drug legislation. It keeps the prices up. You will not win the war on drugs...there's too much money in it and it's powerful enough to corrupt politicians and law enforcement. In the late 70's and early 80's there were articles about the cartels grossing more than General Motors....all cash. I believe the amounts bandied about at that time were in excess of 52 billion dollars annually. Law enforcement hasn't even come close to confiscating that much cash yet and probably never will but yet we spend tens of millions if not hundreds of millions in Latin America to try and stem the flow. We gave Afghanistan untold millions to subsidize the opium poppy growers. They kept the money and increased their production 70%!! The poppy is most of that country's economy and by destroying their crops and possibly their only way to survive, the U.S. is encouraging even more terrorism. They're pissed. Take away their livelihood and upset the means they have to feed their families and you will have a segment of that society supporting Al Qaeda. The U.S. effort is driving people to join them. You're not going to win this......the numbers and the engine that drives it is too powerful. Yeah....you can kill the Escobars, the Arellano's and the Medellin cartels.....there's new ones the next day. The Latin American countries are even leaning towards legalizing drugs and only give the U.S. token lip service to get foreign aid money. Anyway....go ahead and keep bustin' the street level users / dealers. Keep building prisons....keep spending untold millions on "the war" and confiscate what amounts to be pennies on a dollar. It's job security for you.

FYI.....You're not sending this individual nowhere. I don't do dope. I just look at the numbers.

Yeah, yeah, you don't make the laws... you just enforce them. Except when the people change them.

Your tone is exactly what ex-DEA agent Barry Cooper was talking about: Cops in training are given a tunnel vision brainwashing about how evil "dope" is.

That's why we get stories of cops who steal brownies from evidence stashes, take one too many, then call 911 saying that they're dying from a pot overdose.

Also, prohibitionists don't have the right to use the word "socially acceptable",

Because right now, the "socially acceptable" drugs like tobacco and alcohol are lethal and addictive, while the benign ones like cannabis are jaillable. Kind of makes you feel backward and irrelevant, doesn't it?
