Per CDFA's own Situation reports posted on their website, when comparing the number of moths trapped on 11/1/07, just prior to dumping tons of toxic pesticides on the Santa Cruz area and as of 4/1/08, there was a 41% increase in the number of moths trapped! The pesticide spray doesn't even work. It just makes people sick and killed the birds including eight brown pelicans, an endangered species! Per the CDFA, these happenings were also just "coincidences."

Why do they keep telling us how much "pheromone" is in the spray? It's not the pheromone that is the problem, it's breathing all the inert ingredients along with millions of plastic capsules. Journalists - please make the effort to make that clear. Most people do not care about the pheromone, we care about the inert ingredients and the plastic capsules. I haven't seen any data from the CDFA about the quantities of inert ingredients and plastic capsules that are inhaled. Let's please discuss that.

If the Sec. of Agriculture, Health and all other pro-spray say it is safe, why don't they lead be example. Spray them with the stuff and if the are O.K. debate is over.
