Not so fast! The agriculture industry receives billion in subsidies, hires illegal alien border jumpers, pays nothing for their health care, and the industry claims produce will increase in price? Oh Pleeeeease, we're paying more now for same produce, thru higher federal taxes. I support E-Verify 100%. Agriculture producers should be footing the bill for their employees, as I've had a belly full of forced taxes!

I agree, but it's not just produce. I'm getting hit with higher freight costs, plus fuel surcharges. It's tough in a small business. Wait until the MX truckers take jobs away from our citizen drivers, o/operators and shut down trucking companies. I complained to my senator, however, got a typical B.S. letter back that they're going to pay attention to loss of jobs, illegals getting thru, etc, etc. etc. In other words Mexico and NAFTA are more important in this economy. I'm not a trucker, however, have many friends who are. I faxed them a copy of the letter for their files.
