What now? 1) Hornik: super wrong choice. Look closely, not even our local deputy sheriff's support him - they went for HOOD! That's gotta tell us something. NOT EVEN HIS OWN COWORKERS SUPPORT HORNICK!! The DA assoc. DID NOT SUPPORT ANY JUDGE (although they did support ILA for supe). What does that tell you! The local Monterey Bar barely gave Hornick a look so his legal peers think pretty low of him. 2) Serranno? Boy did she step in it, or her husband at least. That was dumb, and too quick to judge. A VERY BAD SIGN for Serranno. So, 3) HOOD? Looks good on paper. Maybe he's the way to go. Too bad we are now left with the best of the rest. Can't we do any better than this in Monterey County??

WHAT NOW? Hornik is no good. Look close - the DEPUTY SHERIFF'S SUPPORT HOOD, NOT HORNIK, so what does tell you? The local guy ought to get the local support! They know something we do not I guess? HORNICK'S FELLOW PROSECUTORS DID NOT ENDORSE HIM! Look at it, they did support a supe (ILA), but no support for any judge candidate? That really is telling. The local bar? Barely even noticed Hornik. Serranno Williams? Boy did she step in it, with that race thing and super quick judgeing of something she knows nothing about. NOT A GOOD SIGN FOR SERRANNO AT ALL! So that leaves us with HOOD. Looks ok on paper, but who knows him? Is he the best of the rest? Why can't we do better in Monterey County??
