I refuse to have any GE products in my home as long as they have buisness dealings with Iran.

Sounds like a winning opportunity for my client companies of Haier, LG Electronics and Samsung.
We shall see who the winner is. Asia or Whirlpool in Benton Harbor, Michigan. |

GE makes Walmart look good. Bad company.

This probably will be bad for keeping the appliances made here in the United States. There go a few thousand more jobs to Asia. I'm sure some Chinese manufacturing company will buy the rights to the "GE Appliances" name and then manufacture products in China (using workers paid at slave-labor rates) at half the cost of Whirlpools and other American appliances. Look at how the familiar names of Polaroid, White Westinghouse, and other brands that were once "made in the U.S." are being used to sell Chinese-made consumer electronics. Eventually nothing will be made in the US and we'll become a third world country.

This is beyond unbelieveable. It's disgraceful. I have no words -- GE to me is synonomous with America. I'll switch to buying Whirlpool if they do this.
So now GE will become just another meaningless trade name stamped onto cheap crap products made in Mexico, China or Korea, like "Black and Decker" appliances. Why don't we all just get it over with! When will I be receiving my Chinese passport? They essentially own us already. |

You know, we once had slaves in this country -- now we just keep them quartered in China and Korea and pretend that what we're doing is any different.
These Republicans have wrecked this country with their free trade crap. I'd rather have tarriffs than this. Keep Americans working, thank you! |
