please leave way to contact you in case i have questions, all information is confidential.

I am really interested in how things were different than they are now; an Aunt told me it use to be so cold here they often hung small game on the eve of the house in the wintertime, superstitions; my mother always had a fit when an ax was brought into the house, beliefs such as the shivarre or putting switches on the porch for a warning, true ghost stories; my Mother said after Grandma passed away she came to her to say goodbye, working; my family cut for the railroad, picked cotton, the children were often rented out to others who needed them for work, homemade soap, whiskey, meat curing, clothing, shoes, and anything else you can think of such as hardships. What were some of your favoriate things, least favoriate, what do you miss the most, is there anything you would change about these modern times?
All responces are welcome be it long or short.
